The Art of Visual Storytelling
I’m Liza van der Stock, a photographer and visual storyteller who captures the profound relationship between wildlife, conservation, and the people dedicated to protecting it — whether through formal conservation efforts or the communities that have coexisted with nature for generations.
Through photography, I create compelling narratives that highlight endangered species, transforming admiration into action.
My fascination with animals and local cultures began in my childhood and led me to earn a Master’s in Sociology, a Master’s in Photography, and a PhD in Arts.
I blend visual storytelling with conservation impact, ensuring every image serves a purpose beyond aesthetics.
PHOTOGRAPHY WITH PURPOSE
I create photography that transforms conservation stories into timeless wall art pieces.
Each limited-edition print contributes to protecting endangered species, amplifying awareness through advocacy, and collaborations with conservation organizations and indigenous communities.
WHERE PHOTOGRAPHIC ART AND CONSERVATION CREATE CHANGE
This project unites the power of photographic art and conservation.
Through strategic collaborations, high-profile advocacy, and compelling storytelling, it elevates endangered species into the public consciousness — transforming admiration into action.
BE PART OF THE STORY
Art has the power to move people, and conservation needs that power more than ever.
My current project - FOREVER WILD - creates a bridge between those who protect wildlife and those who can amplify its message.
It’s an opportunity to shape the way the world sees and values conservation — through imagery that inspires action and partnerships that make a difference.
